  Join us for a ghostly experience this Valentine’s. Explore the Tunnels and listen to the ghostly tales of times gone by here at Fort Amherst, finished with a sharing platter and glass of Prosecco in the Cannon Cafe.

Our new children's trail for 2025.  Help us find the seven bees hidden around the Fort whilst learning all about the bees and how they work in the hive.

  Our experienced guides will show you around Fort Amherst telling stories about the unexplained happenings here...You will be actively hunting and connecting with the spirits that inhabit the tunnels and other buildings within the fort...    

8th & 9th March 2025

 Go back to the 1940s and witness our World War II soldiers practicing their drill and having their kit inspected.  Feel free to join us in costume to add to the event.

This is a free to visit re-enactment.

The Great War Society will be here at Fort Amherst re-enacting their drill and practice.

20th & 21st April 2025

 On Easter Sunday and Monday, the historic tunnels of Fort Amherst will be transformed into a child-friendly fantasy world of make believe and science fiction.

Join us for a unique experience meeting the Fort Amherst bees.

The experience lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a lunch in the Cannon Cafe.
